Sedation Dentistry

Intra-Oral Camera
Intra-oral cameras are tiny digital cameras that fit comfortably in your mouth and enable your dentist to show you an enlarged image of your smile on a computer screen. Not only does this help during diagnosis with clearly defined images that show details that may be missed by standard mirror examinations, it can also be an educational tool, allowing you see the inside of your mouth and confront problems or review procedures as they progress.
Diagnodent
We also utilize a new state-of-the-art tool known as a diagnodent which uses a laser to determine the exact amount and depth of bacteria in the tooth structure which allows us to be conservative as possible when planning restorative needs.
Air Abrasion
Air abrasion is a technique that we use to remove decay and perform other dental procedures without the use of a drill or the need for anesthesia. It is an ideal choice for patients who suffer from fear of needles or who don’t like the sound, smell or vibration of the drill. Air abrasion can reduce treatment time by half, provide effective and precise care and eliminate the discomfort of being numb for hours.
